Alexander Wang sure knows how to rock a runway show.
Fortunate were those who happened to be in the area when the crazy #WangFest party bus unexpectedly stopped for a guerrilla runway show, before reaching Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood where the official show took place.
(And we’re not even talking about those who attended the glamourous after-party that followed…)
Led by the absolutely-gorgeous Kaia Gerber (who made quite an entrance for her first NYFW), Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid embraced the Wang attitude, wearing feathered and crystal-encrusted headpieces emblazoned with “Wangover” and “Party Animal”.
Alexander Wang’s signature lies in his party-girls outfits, and although this collection could have been expected, it was not disappointing. Mini dresses, deconstructed shirts and lingerie, torn jeans, leather and blazers… Everything was mixed and matched for the coolest effect.
We wish the #WangFest bus could have stopped in Australia, don’t we?
It gets dark early, it gets cold and most of the time, we would rather spend the whole day at home, snuggling and cocooning in the most luxurious fabric ever: cashmere.
But before we all settle into our winter slump, let me share with you my fav cashmere inspirations that lead me to shop for you – in Paris – the most beautiful (and affordable) knit collection by Fine Paris.

This week, Carriage Works has transformed into a gigantic runway for the Top Australian and International designer to showcase their 2017/2018 resort collections.
A hub of style, trends, glitter, fabric, ruffles, music and smiles around the art of fashion and design.
Amongst the several Designers shows I attended, I absolutely adored Sass and Bide Resort 18 “Fiesta Barcelona”. The space was enchanting, the music pumping and I found it very refreshing to see so much diversity within the same collection of fluid silhouettes and glamorous fabrics. Truly special.
I have to say my favorite part in all Fashion Weeks is out of the shows: when city streets become catwalks.
Bec and Marissa (@twiceblessed_), a speechless sister duo. You girls are solid gold.
