#WangFest: Inside Alexander Wang’s epic New York Fashion Week show

Alexander Wang sure knows how to rock a runway show.

Fortunate were those who happened to be in the area when the crazy #WangFest party bus unexpectedly stopped for a guerrilla runway show, before reaching Brooklyn’s Bushwick neighborhood where the official show took place.

(And we’re not even talking about those who attended the glamourous after-party that followed…)

Led by the absolutely-gorgeous Kaia Gerber (who made quite an entrance for her first NYFW), Kendall Jenner and Bella Hadid embraced the Wang attitude, wearing feathered and crystal-encrusted headpieces emblazoned with “Wangover” and “Party Animal”.

Alexander Wang’s signature lies in his party-girls outfits, and although this collection could have been expected, it was not disappointing. Mini dresses, deconstructed shirts and lingerie, torn jeans, leather and blazers… Everything was mixed and matched for the coolest effect.

We wish the #WangFest bus could have stopped in Australia, don’t we?

Bisous,
